Hey guys. This is an appeal to get as many people as possible to donate to Urban Roots who this winter plan to create homeless care packages to help provide them with vital essentials they need. Whilst homelessness in the U.K. Is nationally decreasing, in Birmingham it continues to rise and the situation continues to deteriorate for them this Christmas. These packages will provide things we ourselves have asked the homeless on what they need and aren’t provided for, and have told us that they urgently need it. From tissues, soaps, hand and facial wipes, gloves and socks and sanitary towels for women. I understand that things may be a little tight for so many people but even a donation as little as one pound will be greatly appreciated. When the work is done we will provide receipts and proof of where the expense has gone, so accountability is completely shown.

Bodies aren’t meant to stay the same. We are supposed to grow and change. We shouldn’t be making people in their 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, etc feel like they need to strive for the bodies they had in their teens and 20’s. Or making people feel like they “need to get their bodies back” after they have had children. These mindsets aren’t healthy and change is inevitable.
